Welcome

TEAM TRYOUT INFORMATION:

2014 and 2015 teams - October 4th and 5th 3:30-5:30 pm each day at Reckord Road Fields

2010 team - November 16th 3:00 - 5:00 pm at Edgeley Grove (Annie's Playground)

2011, 2012 and 2013 teams - November 22nd and 23rd 3:00 - 5:00 pm each day at Fox Meadows

To facilitate the registration process, please download and complete registration forms as requested and available under the handouts/waivers tab. Please bring a check for the tournament fees. All players trying out must bring their own equipment and have a valid U.S. Lacrosse membership to participate for insurance reasons.  A $10 fee will be required from players participating in tryouts to cover field expenses associated with the use of the facilities.

As a reminder, all players must tryout annually and be physically present to be considered for selection to a team.  There will be only one weekend scheduled for each teams' tryouts but that weekend may change based upon weather/field conditions. For players with a previous commitment (i.e. fall sport game, high school game), please honor that commitment prior to participating in our tryouts.  You should, however, maximize your time at tryouts to allow evaluators the maximum opportunity to assess your abilities.

Please email the team Mom associated with your team to let her know that you will be attending the tryout.

2008 McHugh Scholarship Award Winners

The Jim McHugh scholarship fund was established in 2005 to honor the accomplishments and contributions that Jim made to the Bel Air community.  He will best be remembered as the leader of the North East Maryland Select (NEMS) women's lacrosse organization.  NEMS was founded as a venue to provide Harford County's "best" women lacrosse players the opportunity to advance their playing careers to the collegiate ranks.  Under Jim's guidance, the organization expanded from a single team of fifteen high school seniors in 1997 to our current enrollment of six teams representing over 110 participants in 2008.

The 2008 McHugh Scholarship winners were announced last week.  We would like to congratulate:  Allison Luongo (John Carroll) - Lehigh University and Cailey Aburn (John Carroll) - George Mason University.
